Food and drink

Forget long queues and boring menus. At Viking Glory, we’ve put our heart and soul into making sure you have a fantastic food experience. The vessel will have around ten restaurants and something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.

Where would you like to eat? Choose from exciting themed restaurants, cosy brasseries and, of course, our classic buffet created by Sweden’s National Culinary Team. The drink menus have also been carefully selected. Celebrate with a fine vintage wine or try a craft beer from one of Åland’s microbreweries to go with your food. The choice is yours. Affordable prices onboard give you an opportunity to enjoy a real feast without going broke. And of course, to further enhance the experience, your meal will always be accompanied by lovely views of the archipelago.

Viking Terrace, the only one of its kind on the Baltic Sea

How does the combination of a stylish rooftop bar, relaxed terrace restaurant and fantastic sea views sound? You’ll find all that on Deck 11, on the first genuine rooftop terrace on the Baltic Sea.

Viking Terrace is a summer oasis with generous opening hours, from early in the morning to the wee hours of the night. A luxurious breakfast, summery dishes from the grill and refreshing drinks are all served here. In the evening, DJs and troubadours perform. The large terrace area has seating for 202 people plus 54 comfortable sun lounges. Thanks to glazing and infrared heating, the summer begins early and continues well into the autumn.

Mimmi's & The Buffet

At Mimmi's, you order over the counter and take a seat wherever you want — there are no tables reserved. Burgers, steaks, fresh fish and newly made salads — you'll find all the tasty bistro classics here. Just like the pioneering female sailor after which the restaurant is named, the food is down-to-earth without any unnecessary flourishes.

The Buffet is found in the bow of the vessel, where the views are at their most beautiful. Pick out your favourites and enjoy well-prepared starters, main courses and desserts. There are also many vegan dishes to choose from. Wine, beer, soft drinks and coffee are included in the price.

Kobba & Fyren

An archipelago oasis and the First rotating chambré séparée on the Baltic Sea!

Viking Glory’s relaxed bistrostyle restaurant Kobba offers an atmosphere, stunning views and a relaxed menu with delicious dishes available in both small and large portions. Combine whatever you want to put together your own meal. Fyren is a separate and rotating glass-enclosed room for small gatherings that want to enjoy food and drinks in the place on board the vessel with the very best view. Imagine yourself there, with an extraordinary 220 degree vista of the salt-sprayed islets and rocks – and absolutely nothing blocking your view.

Fyren can be booked for a maximum of 12 seated guests for breakfast or dinner. If someone instead wants to arrange a social event for more people, like a luxurious cocktail party, up to 26 guests can be accommodated. It is also possible to book food and beverage packages such as Scandinavian Afternoon Tea Break, Fyren Champagne Break and Fyren Seafood Break.

King of the smugglers tavern

Algoth’s is Viking Glory’s smugglers tavern, named after the colourful bootlegger Algoth Niska. Unlike other liquor smugglers during the first half of the 20th century, who were usually tied to the land, Algoth was a sea captain who owned a number of fast boats. He had also played on Finland’s national football team and considered himself something of a gentleman.

At Algoth’s, you’re served perfectly mixed cocktails in a relaxed at-home setting, where every cocktail has a story and the bartender will be more than happy to share his best tips with you. The bar can also be hired out at times during the day for private groups.

The Baltic Sea’s first food court

The kids want pizza, but you prefer classic home cooking. What do you do? Head to the Market on Deck 10, or course. In our vibrant maritime food court, the food stands are all lined up – just pick and choose, and then enjoy your meal together. Small appetizers or a hearty meal – you decide. Along with pizza and classic home cooking, ethnic dishes from all the corners of the world are served here with a Nordic twist. The food court even has its own bakery. If you’d like to take a tasty treat out on the deck or freshly brewed coffee and a freshly made sandwich to your car before going ashore, you can do that too.
